        all grubs are similar in appearance
  • White to grayish with brown heads
  • 6 legs near front of body
  • "C" shaped
  • 3/4 - 1-1/2" Long

  • Beetles (have hard wings)
  • Vary from brown to black
  • (Japanese beetles have coppery brown wings and
        metallic green bodies)

  • Feed on turf roots
  • Grass wilts, browns and may die
  • Birds, skunks, racoons, moles and armadillos may
        disrupt sod in search of grubs
